A Little Piece of Heaven

It’s a little piece of heaven
The barn up on the hill.
A dream they’ve had forever
And to them it’s quite a thrill!

Some people may say it’s just
Another fancy horse shed.
Where horses live like kings
Sleeping in their fancy stall beds

Those of us here know it’s not just a place
For rider and horse to stay out of the weather.
But a place full of warmth
For people to come and be social together.

It brings the best clinicians
For we can never learn too much.
About reining and roping and
Trail riding and such.

Wednesday night is ladies night
So bring your horse and riding seat.
We’ll be playing games on horseback
That Marsha plans so neat.

Occasionally you will catch a family night
Where the kids can ride and play.
When parents sit back and say
We sure are proud of them today.

So the next time someone tells you
That barn is just an ol’ riding pen,
You can tell them from your heart
It’s the closest place to heaven
that you have ever been!
