Hi View Farm

Painted Horse Day Camp

We will no longer be offering Pony Camps at Hi-View Farm going forward. This has been a hard decision for us to make. This has been one of the most rewarding and fun experiences ever for us.

We hope we have made a positive influence in all the children we have had the opportunity to work with. Our goal was to teach children how to be safe and have fun with horses. We have loved sharing our love of horses with others.

Our plans going forward are to still do lessons on a limited basis and spend more time in the saddle riding and traveling with our own horses. We are not getting any younger here at Hi-View Farm and have a huge bucket list to do while we still can.

Every Day is a Grand Adventure

Beginner Camp: The beginner camp is designed for riders who
have little or no riding experience. We emphasize safety, while learning how to lead, groom, tack up and care for the ponies and horses. Each child will receive individual daily riding time with an instructor, becoming comfortable while being mounted and riding at a walk. This is NOT a learn to ride camp. Lessons are available at other times. Activities including arts and crafts will be done each day.

Advanced Camp: Our advanced camp is for children who have been to camp previously or those who have had previous horse experience. In this camp we will continue to build on skills learned at previous camps as well as continue to expand knowledge while in the saddle. We will focus more on horsemanship, use of natural aids, gaits and transitions. At this camp students will play games on horseback to improve confidence, balance and riding ability.

NOTE: Camps are limited to 8 riders and fill quickly. Please feel free to email
hiviewfarm@gmail.com  or call Jackie @ #608-482-0784 if you would like any additional information.
